After downloading the CU-SeeMe software decompress the file with Stuffit Expander, open the program, and you will see the following menu below.

1. Pull down the "Edit" menu to "Preferences" and release. In the Video Title Box, type in the name of your school. (Name will appear on video and/or "chat" being sent.)
2. Pull down the "Edit" menu to "Nickname-New" and release.

3. Pull down the "Conference" menu to "Connect" and release.
4. Pull down the "Conference" menu to "Open Chat Window" and release. A chat window will appear divided in two sections. Click in the lower section to "Chat". The text you type will appear in the upper section when you press "Enter". The name that you put in the Video Title Box (see # 1) will appear in front of your text.
5. Pull down the "Conference" menu to "Open Audio Window" and release. Push the button "Push to Talk" and HOLD IT DOWN as you speak in order to send audio.
6. When connected to a videoconferencing camera, the image captured on camera will be sent as video. To save bandwidth you can freeze the video image.
