Off to the Races with Mousetraps!

After studying Newton's Three Laws of Motion and potential and kenetic energy, students were assigned to work on teams and create a car powered by a mousetrap.   Included on this page are the top distance winner and the best design in each class.  Students created records in a database which included the engineers, car, average distance, and average velocity.
