MAST
II extends the knowledge of teachers in grades 3-8 who have
previously received professional development in using classroom
technologies in mathematics and science education. The course
strengthens the technology knowledge of these teachers and
helps them apply technology to their instruction in restructured,
workstation-based classrooms. It provides teachers the opportunity
and guidance to design a full rotation of workstations and
builds their knowledge of current technologies, including
use of the Internet, web pages, probeware, video, and sound.
The project also addresses many of the practical problems
teachers face in reforming their instruction.
