I have three years experience as a professional educator in North Carolina Public Schools. I have taught sixth grade Language Arts at Rochelle Middle School in Kinston for two years. I currently teach fourth grade at Mary Potter Intermediate School in Oxford. I have begun working on my Master's of Arts degree in Reading Education at East Carolina University.

Technology
programs I have participated in are TIES (Technology Integrated Educational
Site) and MAST II (Mathematics and Science Using Technology II). As an
educator, I use technology in my classroom through power point presentations,Internet
research, and word processing projects.

During the next two weeks of the MAST II workshop I am very interested in learning how to create web pages and creating a classroom rich in technology.

My students are surrounded by a variety of technological aspects. These include computers, printers, scanners, and the Internet. Two of my future goals as an educator are to become technological literate so that I can confidently pass this knowledge on to my students. Another goal is to become the technology teacher/coordinator at my school. |
My TIES project in which I taught to my students had a very pleasing outcome.
| I enjoy reading, learning about computers, software, and the latest technology, teaching, swimming, and the outdoors. |  |
One of my favorite places to travel are the Outer Banks of North Carolina because I love the beach and the ocean.
